Sophie Elgort is a multifaceted photographer, director, producer, and host whose work is centered around telling powerful stories through both image and words. Sophie’s diverse portfolio includes collaborations with top fashion brands (De Beers, Rosewood Hotels, Victoria’s Secret, Alice + Olivia, Adidas, Maybelline) and publications (Cultured, Elle, Glamour, Paper, Teen Vogue, The Financial Times, Vogue Greece, Vogue Thailand, Harper’s Bazaar Turkey) and capturing iconic personalities (Brooke Shields, Elizabeth Olsen, John Waters, Naomi Watts, Rose Byrne, Hilary Swank, Bowen Yang, Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Rosario Dawson). Her work has been featured in Vogue, The New York Times, and the Financial Times, where she started her career photographing and interviewing professionals on the streets of New York for Suits and the City, a column she co-created. Sophie’s photography can be viewed at the Staley-Wise Gallery, and she has held two solo exhibitions in New York and Los Angeles.
Beyond the lens, Sophie is a dynamic host, moderator, and interviewer for a range of platforms, from live events to television and digital media. Sophie is currently the Host and Executive Producer of All Arts on PBS series Portrait Mode with Sophie Elgort. She has participated as a guest judge for The All American High School Film Festival and the Miss USA Pageant. Sophie is also a frequent moderator and public speaker at renowned institutions like the Rubin Museum of Art, Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), Barnard College, Pratt Institute, and Brown University.
Sophie was previously named to Forbes’ 30 Under 30 list and The Daily Front Row’s "12 New Wave Creatives Moving Fashion Forward". She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Brown University and lives in New York City with her husband and their three young children.
